ÉLES Weekly Reminders

Good Evening ÉLES Families,

Valentine’s day is quickly approaching and each class will be planning their own Valentine’s activities. Directions will be provided by your child’s teacher. In all classes, we are asking that if Valentine cards are being handed out, that they are in the school by February 9th, so they can be handed out on the 12th. Unfortunately, no food or treats can be brought to the school to share with classmates.  Instead the school will be providing a frozen yogurt tube and banana chip square to all students. An alternative snack will be provided for students with allergies.

This week at ÉLES:

Tuesday, February 9th – Last day to bring Valentines to the school to hand out on February 12th.

Wednesday, February 10th- Hold and Secure practice. For more information on our Hour Zero Response program click here.

February Newsletter

The Government of Alberta self-screening tool is to be completed daily at home to determine if they may enter the school.  If a student  answers “Yes” to any of the questions, they will not be able to enter the school.  You should stay home and use the COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool to determine whether you need to be tested for COVID-19.

If your child needs to go home early or attend an appointment, a sign out form is posted to our school web page. After completing the form, call the school, and your child will be escorted to the front door to meet you for pick-up.

If your child(ren) is going to be late or away due to illness or vacation please email the office at so we can mark them away accordingly.
