What's new at ÉLES this Week:
🌸 Happy Spring Break!
We want to wish all of our families a wonderful, restful Spring Break. We hope you enjoy this time with your loved ones and manage to get out for some fresh air and sunshine. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday, April 7!
🎨 2026 Indigenous Art Show During this week's conferences, our hallways were transformed by the annual Indigenous Art Show! Families enjoyed exploring incredible student artwork inspired by Canadian Indigenous artists. If you missed it or want to see it again, you can view the digital gallery below. We are so proud of our students’ creativity and their commitment to learning about Indigenous culture through art.
🚌 Bus Loop Safety Reminders
Help us keep our students safe by following these drop-off and pick-up essential guidelines:
- Stay in your vehicle: If your child needs help exiting, please park and walk them to the door.
- No reversing: Children are often nearby and difficult to see.
- Be patient: Do not pull around; wait for the vehicle in front to move.
- Drop-off location: Only drop students off directly beside the school building. The second lane is for visitor parking access only.
📚 Thank You: Conferences & Book Fair
Thank you to everyone who joined us for conferences this week! It was wonderful to see our students proudly sharing their progress. We also want to extend a huge thank you for your incredible support of the Book Fair. A special "thank you" to the families who generously purchased books from our teachers' wish lists—our classroom libraries are much richer because of you!
🏸 Grade 5/6 Extra-Curriculars
Grade 5/6 badminton is starting right away after the break. If your child would like to try out for badminton and they didn't bring home a form, you can print one off HERE. Keep your eyes open for Flag Football, coming soon.
🏠 Moving This Summer?
Planning for the 2026-2027 school year is already underway! If your family is planning to move this summer and your child will not be attending ÉLES in the fall, please notify the front office as soon as possible.
