🎵 Special Guest: Sylvain Simard French Song-writing Workshop!
We are excited to welcome Sylvain Simard to Leduc Estates next week! Our French Immersion students will participate in a unique musical workshop to help compose a brand-new song written specifically for our school.
We look forward to watching this creative project unfold—stay tuned for the final debut! To learn more about Sylvain’s work, visit Monde à Part.
🧦 Rock Your Socks for World Down Syndrome Day!
On Friday, March 20, Leduc Estates is inviting all students and staff to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing their wildest, brightest, or most mismatched socks!
The "Rock Your Socks" campaign is a fun way to get people talking and raise awareness. Why socks? Because under a microscope, chromosomes look a little bit like socks, and people with Down syndrome have an extra one!
Let’s fill our school with color and show our support for diversity and inclusion. We can't wait to see your favorite pairs!
🌙 Eid Mubarak!
We wish a joyful Eid ul-Fitr to all our Muslim families celebrating this week! Known as the "Festival of Breaking the Fast," this holiday marks the end of Ramadan, a month-long journey of prayer and fasting from dawn to sunset. It is a beautiful time centered on gratitude, charity, and togetherness. Whether you are gathering for special prayers or sharing festive meals with loved ones, we hope your celebrations are filled with peace and happiness. Eid Mubarak!
⚠️Student Reminders: Personal Items at School
To help ensure a smooth and safe recess, we kindly ask that Pokémon cards and mini-sticks stay at home.
Trading cards often leads to misunderstandings or "trader's remorse," while mini-sticks can pose a safety hazard in our busy play areas. Thank you for your support in keeping our playground fun and inclusive for everyone!
